Thank you for the inspiration

In this coming September, it will be my life changing time to proceed into another stage and transform from a foundation in science holder to a medical degree student. However, the word Medicine doesn't scare me at all for I always have this high self-confident in myself. Yet, high self-confident and capability are exactly of two different thing and my self assurance only make me sink lower and lower.

I have to thank Nina (http://ninammazlan.wordpress.com/) for inspiring me so much. She is currently having her first year degree in SiChuan Medical University and appear to be the top student over there. The most amazing thing is, she is a triple degree holder for taking MBBS and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) at the same time. Her knowledge toward medicine has far overtook the basic knowledge needed to be covered in first degree year. I strongly believe that it's because of her own effort in reading all those thick doctor's journal that make her a wiser and knowledgeable person.

I'm nothing compare to her. I'm a lazy bum who only dream of becoming a doctor in order to complete my dream as a psychiatrist. If I continue behave in this way, I might either flunk my exam or become the worst doctor ever. It's a simple concept of what is planted will be reaped in the end of the day. Like a farmer who plants cucumber can never expect for the red tomato. What is a doctor for if not to put in all he/she could to save patients' life?

As I can see, and finally agree that the journey to become a doctor isn't as easy as imagined. White coat with a stereoscope and being called as "doctor" might sounded awesome but you will never understand the story behind them. Each doctors has a different story and one day, i'm going to use my story to inspire the others. It's going to be a journey full of blocking stones, a journey of faith, experiencing God's wonder and most importantly, to become a living testimony of all.

Choices are many but decision aren't easy to be made.
