When the microphone was passed to me to present my farewell speech, I really went blank. Perhaps I haven't really move into the leaving mood and the matter of farewell hasn't cross my mind. Or, perhaps, time had created a small gap between the old youth members and me, restricting me to behave naturally.
Anyway, I really thank you all (Power Youth Members) for organizing this farewell dinner at Tropical Fish Cafe for me n Sim Yi. The super big burger of a basketball player's palm size big (RM15) is indeed the memorable part of that place. Although I shared with my friend, Jocelyn, we still barely finish it. I'm also here to say, forgive me for not participate actively, nor did I accomplished all your final wish--hear me singing. Knowing that people are waiting for me to sing alone, it just made me felt more awkward to sing publicly. I don't usually sing K. Mahjong has quickly become the alternative entertainment option. I don't deny the temptation of the Mahjong set within my vision zone and that's how I ended up having a Mahjong gang there. Although we didn't chat much, but spending time together alone is already great. Hopefully the next time I meet you all, I can share with you all my new experiences at the other side of the world. Once again, thank you all for your concern and prayer.
The word leaving and going overseas might sound cool. While enjoying the coolness of the "going overseas" tag, I also have to be ready to accept the behind scene risk of the coolness. People often quote, "no pain, no gain".
With all the best wishes
