God's Leading

Regardless of the starting point, whether we are born in Christian family or converted later, there is always a turning point in a Christian's life. There are times we distanced ourselves from God but God has His very special way of bringing us back to Him. Some were being influenced by great awesome friends (that's what happened to me), some were being touched by the lyrics of the songs which brought them to their knees, some were being moved by how great our God is and etc. I can see that, the arrangement of the Chinese Christians friends here is surely not coincident but with a purpose that is yet to be discovered. Amen?

Acceptance of God and understand God are independent subjects. One can say I believe the existence of God but do not understand a little about God or I understand a lot but I do not believe in God. It's a actually a long process of learning and gaining throughout the life to make both intercept together. This is why, a fellowship is needed to build up the members' spiritual life. Also the reason why we are forming a small fellowship group here singing praises to the Lord and having a small program.

After our first small fellowship, I went to the local church youth fellowship in hope to get to know to the locals and have a look at how they carry out their youth fellowship. To my surprise, instead of the fellowship that I'm looking forward, it's a big night service but led by youth. The worship moment was really awesome with nice and meaningful songs and every single words spoke by the worship leader touched me and I smiled in joy, feeling happy for the group of people here who are Christians and some actively involved in church activities.

For the moment, I wouldn't go to the local church night youth service as my exam is drawing near and I still have to cope up my studies. =)
