Smooth Week

Within a quick blink, another awesome week just ended. I remembered I stopped somewhere at the Pre-Freshes party. So yea, let’s continue with the Freshes Party that was held on last Sunday, 13 November by 2nd year seniors to welcome the 2011 batch.

If you had seen my current Facebook profile photo, don’t be fooled by my very lady appearance and pose because the ugly truth is, I am not. I remember how my friends laughed at me when I was wearing the 丝袜 with all sort of weird and not lady actions that I am not going to describe in details. But hey, that’s my very first time to wear丝袜! Besides, I purposely went Zhen Wen’s place earlier to make up since I have to go on stage but after 1hour of making up, I still look the same. Most probably I was applying and removing at the same time with my first time make up skill. Still, original is always the best.

Although I wasn’t being awarded as Mrs Freshes (which is not what I’m looking forward either), I was unusually calm and steady while answering, as thought I don't have stage fright at all. Thank God for giving me courageous.

Our Second Fellowship gathering =)
Regarding our fellowship, we just had our second fellowship and things seem to be getting more organized. Hallelujah! In conjunction with our movie day, we watched LETTERS TO GOD. It’s a very inspiring movie picturing out the life of a young boy who is suffering from cancer but having the unshakable faith that is worth to be inculcated in our life. It also teaches us, in everything pray to God. He makes the weak strong.

During today’s Sunday service at Chengdu International Church, I heard 3 people speaking mandarin at the back which made me wonder why local people came to International church. After the service, we had a frank talk and found out that they are actually Taiwanese who happen to be our seniors from Chinese medium. Never did we realize that we are actually living in the same area and walking in the same campus. Treasuring the opportunity, we invited them to join in our chinese fellowship. Hopefully they can make it.

Wow, God is really making all these working. Hallelujah!
