Potter's Hand

Oh take me, mold me, use me, fill me
I give my life to the potter's hand

Oh call me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me
I give my life to the potter's hand

As I sang the chorus during today's morning service,my eyes turns watery. Deep inside my heart, I said, 'Yes Lord, you are the author of my life. Take me, mold me, use me, fill me; call me, guide me, lead me, walk beside me. I know you have a plan in me.'

Our God is really thoughtful. He understand me more than anyone else do, especially this time when I'm mentally weak. My thought are constantly being hunted by all kinds of things that distract me from study, which indirectly making me anxious for the up coming semester exam. Most of the time I can only sit there holding my books and not absorbing in a single word. All I can do was only WORRY. How can I not worry?

But God silently sent His messengers to me, constantly remind  me of His presence. He used Ewen's personal testimony to tell how much He cares about his child. During today's praise and worship, when we sang the Potter's Hand, it was like singing out the voice trapped within that I have nowhere to expel out. At the same time, another voice told me, 'I'm your shelter, come to me and I shall give you shalom'. Not only so, He used today's sermon--Psalm 23 to speak to me again.

God has been constantly comforting me and reassuring me that He'll guide me through. Why shall I worry and not cast all my anxieties unto Jesus. Isn't He is the God that makes impossible possible? Amen.

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.
 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
 3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
   for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
   through the valley of the shadow of death
,
I will fear no evil,
   for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
   they comfort me.
 5 You prepare a table before me
   in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
   my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
   all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
   forever.

  1. yes our dear Father knows every single thing regarding you, His beloved princess..

    "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7

    Father Lord, i pray for my dear sister Envira. You know every single thing that she is going through, the struggles, the hard times and the good times. For You are always there when she calls upon You, You listen and You answer. God, i pray for Your strength to be upon her as she strives for the best in her studies to glorify Your name. I pray that You will strengthen her in faith and confidence about You and also in herself, in which she will speak in faith to her mountains that with You, all things are possible. Grant her Lord the wisdom and superb concentration and memory as she revises and prepares for her exam, and that she will have understanding in all she studies. Lord i also pray for Your joy and peace to still any anxieties that arises in her, for You are greater than her worries and problems Lord. In the name of Jesus, i break any form of worry, or distractions that may come upon her, even the lies from the enemy that speaks negative thoughts into her will not prevail against Your mighty name! Refresh her spirit in You Lord. Thank You Father. In Jesus' name i pray. Amen!

    God bless you and all the best in your exams! :)
